Entry of Resid ential Premises by t he Landlor d The landlord may ent er the resi dential premises only if one of the f ollowing applies:• The landlord gi ves the tenant a written notice which st ates why the l andlord needs to enter the res idential
premises and specifi es a reasonable ti me not soone r than 24 hours from the tim e of giving notice. The
landlord m ay enter the residen tial premis es betwe en the ho urs of 8 a.m . and 8 p.m . The lan dlord ma y not
enter the rental unit on the tenant’s day of worship or holi days. • T here is an emergency;• T he tenant gives the l andlord permission to enter at t he time of entry or not more than one month before the
time of entry for a speci fic purpose; • T he tenant has abandoned the res idential premises;• The landlord must give the tenant 24 - hour notice i f he or she wi ll be showing the ren tal unit to prosp ective
renters or buyers;• If the landlord needs to do repairs or insp ect repairs, he or she mu st give 24 - hour notice to the tenant.
